Ashley Vanderwall has joined the Association as a full-time intern in the marketing/media content department for the fall of 2018. She is currently a senior at the College of Saint Rose where she is a communications major with a minor in Public Relations and Advertising. Ashley is a member of the Women’s Basketball Team at Saint Rose where she served as a captain last season. She is also a member of the college’s SAAC program.

Ashley is a graduate of Palmyra-Macedon High School (Section V) where she participated in basketball and lacrosse. She was a four-year varsity basketball player and earned 3rd team All-State her senior year. At the end of her senior year she received the school’s Female Athlete of the Year award and was also a member of the National Honor Society.

“I am very excited to be a part of this organization for the fall semester,” said Ashley. “Athletics has always been a passion of mine since I started playing basketball in second grade. I am looking forward to this opportunity and being able to learn and grow for the future.”

Brian Minutolo has joined the Association as a part time intern this fall. He is currently a junior at the University at Albany, double majoring in communications and journalism. Brian made Dean’s List and earned the William E. Rowley Award for Journalistic Writing (Honorable Mention) his first semester at Albany. Prior to UAlbany, he played soccer and earned his Associates Degree at Ulster County Community College.

Brian is a 2015 graduate of Wallkill Senior High School (Section IX) where he participated in soccer and track and field. He was named a Section IX second team All-Star his senior year as a defender.

“I am very excited for this opportunity,” said Brian. “The Association will provide valuable experiences that will help me towards a career after college. As a former high school athlete, it will also be interesting seeing the other side of this organization.”
