NYSPHSAA Announces Changes to 2018 Boys Soccer State Championship Tournament Schedule
Latham, NY- The New York State Public High School Athletic Association Inc. (NYSPHSAA) has announced revisions to its 2018 Boys Soccer State Tournament Semifinals and Finals schedule. Heavy rain in the Middletown area has rendered the grass soccer fields at Middletown High School and Twin Towers Middle School unplayable this weekend.
The State semifinals will now be played at three separate locations - Middletown High School (turf field), Marlboro High School and Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh on Saturday November 10. The State Championship games will all be played on the turf field at Middletown High School. The complete revised Championship schedule is listed below.

East Aurora (6) vs. Briarcliff (1) Middletown HS 8:30 am
Westhill (3) vs. Schalmont (2) Middletown HS 11:00 am
Geneseo (5) vs. S.S. Seward (9) Marlboro High School 8:45 am
Lansing (4) vs. Madrid-Waddington (10) Marlboro High School 11:15 am
Finney (5) vs. Mount Academy (9) Marlboro High School 1:45 pm
Chazy (7) vs. Marathon (4) Middeltown High School 6:00 pm
State Championship Games-Sunday, November 11th
Class AA Middletown High School (turf) 2:30 pm
Class A Middletown High School (turf) 8:30 am
Class B Middletown High School (turf) 10:30 am
Class C Middletown High School (turf) 12:30 pm
Class D Middletown High School (turf) 4:30 pm
Teams will be given 20 minutes of warmup time on the turf field prior to the State Championship matches. Warmup areas will be provided at Middletown High School for teams to utilize prior to their games.
