Author: Roxanne Trama, NYSPHSAA Intern

Welcome to the next edition of “Milk Moves of the Week” sponsored by Refuel With Chocolate Milk from the American Dairy Association North East. Outstanding athletic performance is evidence of practice, superior physical conditioning and good nutrition. Each week, we’ll share a rundown from around the state of the top “Milk Moves” of the week as nominated by our member schools, coaches, media partners, and fans. No matter the sport, we want to share the accomplishments of NYSPHSAA student-athletes!

Softball:  MaKena Adams (Frewsburg) struck out 19 batters and had a no-hitter in a win against Pine Valley.

Girls Lacrosse:  Gracie Britton (Christian Brothers Academy) had 8 points in the win against Tully.

Boys Lacrosse: Jake Gallina (Palmyra-Macedon) racked up 9 points, scoring 5 goals and adding 4 assists in a win over Bloomfield-Honeoye.

Boys Track & Field: Ryan Gould (Newburgh Free Academy) finished the 400m Hurdles in 53.44 at the New York Relays, setting a new personal record and the best time in the state so far this season.

Girls Track & Field: Jada Kenner (Tapestry Carter) finished the 200m in 24.46 at the Webster Invitational, setting a new personal record and the best time in the state so far this season
