Welcome to this week’s edition of “Milk Moves of the Week” sponsored by Refuel With Chocolate Milk from the American Dairy Association North East! Outstanding athletic performance is evidence of practice, superior physical conditioning and good nutrition. Each week, we share a rundown from around the state of the top “Milk Moves” of the week as nominated by our member schools, coaches, media partners, and fans.?No matter the sport, we want to share the accomplishments of NYSPHSAA student-athletes! 

Boys Indoor Track & Field: Amir Cambridge (Farmingdale) delivered a personal record at the Section VIII Conference I Championships on Thursday, posting a 45’8” triple jump.

Girls Basketball: Sonia Citron (Ursuline) delivered a solid double-double performance, contributing 31 points and 19 rebounds in a 75-72 overtime win over Albertus Magnus.  

Boys Swimming & Diving:  Christian Lee (Ardsley) posting 1:54.29 in the 200 Individual Medley, setting the fastest time in the state so far this season.

Boys Ice Hockey:? Jadon Lee (Fulton) stopped 39 shots on Tuesday to earn a shutout win over Cazenovia.

Boys Wrestling: Brayden Newman (Falconer) secured the final pin against Mount Sinai to help his team earn a 40-39 victory and clinch the Division 2 Wrestling Dual Meet Championship on Saturday.  

Girls Indoor Track & Field: Leah Pasqualetti (Orchard Park) cleared 14’3” in the pole vault, setting a new state record at the Groundhog Classic at Houghton College.

Boys Basketball: Isaiah Wilson (Lyme) scored 33 points during a 74-66 double overtime victory over Copenhagen, reaching 2,000 career points in the process.
