Hall of Fame
Robert M. Garrow was an official in Section VII since 1954. Mr. Garrow officiated soccer, basketball, and baseball at the high school level and was known by many as a “model” official for others. He was appointed six times in his career as an official at the NYSPHSAA basketball state basketball tournament. He also served the NYSPHSAA as an Executive Committee member from 1973-78 and worked in the Peru and Plattsburgh school districts as a teacher and administrator. Mr. Garrow, who grew up in Altona, NY, is a member of the SUNY Plattsburgh Hall of Fame and once earned the prestigious Irving Schwartz award from the NYSAAA.
