Hall of Fame
Bob Southworth, a graduate of Valley Central (Section III) and Syracuse University, has been a high school baseball coach in Section III for 49 years. He was the only coach in Corcoran High School history at the time of his induction, and has compiled a 694-321 career record (2nd all-time in NYS) in addition to racking up ten league championships, and three Section III Championships. Southworth has served as Section III Chairman and provided his expertise to numerous local baseball organizations including Onondaga Babe Ruth, where he was President, and Valley Babe Ruth, where he was Treasurer. He is a member of the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame (1997) and Corcoran High School Hall of Fame (2008).
