The 2022 NYSPHSAA Boys Ice Hockey Championships were held at the HarborCenter in Buffalo on Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13. Eight teams came to Western New York chasing a state championship, in the end both titles were won by Section I schools. In Division I, Suffern (Section I) came back from a early 2-0 deficit to top West Genesee (III) 5-2 to claim the title. While the Division 2 game was a wild shootout that saw Pelham (Section I)  top Starpoint (Section VI) 7-6 in overtime. For more on the 2022 Ice Hockey Championships please click here.
