NYSPHSAA BOWLING STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS RETURN TO SYRACUSE
FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2019

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) is set to host the Bowling State Championships in Syracuse from March 11-13.
The 55
th annual Bowling State Tournament will take place at Strike N’ Spare Lanes for a three-day period. This championship was first introduced in 1978 and then progressed to a two-division format in 2018. It will be the first time since 2019 the event will be hosted due to COVID cancelling it just days before the 2020 event was supposed to kick off. The 11 member sections will send a combined 550 boys and girls to compete at states in a composite and divisional format.
Strike N’ Spare Lanes is one of the biggest bowling centers in New York State with 72 lanes to handle nearly 2,100 state tournament games and sufficient space for spectator viewing. The bowling state championships has had great success at Strike N’ Spare hosting this for three consecutive years and will continue to do so through 2024.
Tickets must be
purchased digitally. Prices are $10 per ticket for a full day of bowling with Friday consisting of Division II competition, Saturday consisting of bowling composites for both boys and girls, and Sunday consisting of Division I competition. Doors open one hour prior to each session.
