NYSPHSAA Girls Ice Hockey Regional Championship is Set for Utica

    The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) is returning to the Nexus Center in Utica to host the Girl’s Ice Hockey Regional Championship on February 16-17.
    “On behalf of the Girls Ice Hockey Committee, it is our pleasure to welcome the competitors, coaches and fans of the New York State Public High School
Athletic Association to the 2024 Girls Regional Ice Hockey Championships,” said Carl Normandin, NYSPHSAA Girl’s Ice Hockey Coordinator. “By qualifying for the NYSPHSAA `Girls Frozen Four’, these athletes competing have proven themselves to be among the best in New York State. We are excited and proud to be able to compete at the state of the art Nexus Center Arena in Utica, New York. I would like to wish all the teams that are finishing up their respective season the best of luck and I look forward to seeing everyone at the Frozen Four.”
    In 2023, Clinton (III) went home with Regional Championship title, which marked their second Regional Championship. Their first win came in 2020.  The tournament will consist of 2 semifinal matches for each division on Friday, February 16, and 1 final match for each division on Saturday, February 17. This year’s Final Four regional participants will be Canton (X), Kenmore/Grand Is. (VI), Skaneateles (III) and Adirondack United (2).
    Tickets can be purchased ONLY online at www.gofan.co/NYSPHSAA. The cost is $11.50 (including fees) for a single day. The event will be streamed on the NFHS Network, the official broadcasting partner of the NYSPHSAA State Championships.
