The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) has proudly hosted the Girls Lacrosse Championships at SUNY Cortland since the tournament’s inception in 1995. This year, sixteen of the top high school lacrosse teams from across New York State will compete in a two-day tournament, where four champions—one from each class—will be crowned as 2025 NYSPHSAA Girls Lacrosse State Champions.

SUNY Cortland once again is set for another exciting weekend of high school lacrosse. This Years 2025 Girls Lacrosse State Championship features many familiar teams and strong contenders across all four Classes. The Class A reigning champions, Cicero-North Syracuse (Section III), return to SUNY Cortland ready to defend their title. In Class B, Victor High School (Section V) seeks to extend their impressive streak as three-time defending champions, aiming for a fourth straight title. Class C promises thrilling matchups with strong contenders eager to claim their spot at the top. Class D will be one to watch, as Cold Spring Harbor (Section VIII) looks to defend its 2024 title, while last year’s runner-up, South Jefferson (Section III), is eager for a comeback and determined to capture the championship this time. The two teams meet in Friday’s semifinal. Who will advance to Saturday’s final?

The semifinal games are on Friday, June 13, starting at 9:00 a.m. with Class D, followed by Classes A, B, and C throughout the day. The finals are on Saturday, June 14, with the same schedule.

Tickets for the 2025 NYSPHSAA Girls Lacrosse semifinals and finals are $12 and can be purchased online only through GoFan
